PRONUNCIATION TASK: When –ed is part of the past tense form of a regular verb, it can be pronounced as /id/ , /t/ or /d/ . It depends on the final sound of the verb in its infinitive form. Examples: /id/ - start – started /t/ - work – worked /d/ - stay – stayed a) Listen to the following verbs in their simple past form and drag them into the correct column according to the pronunciation of the -ed ending.
