PRONUNCIATION TASK

 PRONUNCIATION TASK:

When –ed is part of the past tense form of a regular verb, it can be pronounced as /id/, /t/ or /d/. It depends on the final sound of the verb in its infinitive form.

Examples:

        /id/ - start – started                 /t/ -  work – worked               /d/ - stay – stayed

a)    Listen to the following verbs in their simple past form and drag them into the correct column according to the pronunciation of the -ed ending.
